Paul Collette
President, Collette Ceilings and Drywall, Inc.
Born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Paul Collette graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas High School, and honed his business skills working in a family-owned business. After that business was sold, Paul joined Acousti Engineering as a ceiling apprentice. Paul applied the training and experience he gained at Acousti by forming Collette & Robertson, a company specializing in acoustical ceilings and drywall. In 1996, when Collette Ceilings and Drywall was established, Paul further implemented his knowledge by expanding this new company across the tri-county areas of Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties.
Paul prides himself on the frequency of repeat business he receives from clients. With their support, he continues to expand his business opportunities to include both small and larger construction projects. As president of Collette Ceilings and Drywall, Inc., Paul’s primary objective is to provide the highest quality workmanship for every project he undertakes!
Currently, Paul serves on the Safety Committee for the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) Organization.
Kim Collette
Vice President, Collette Ceilings and Drywall
Also born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Kim graduated from Nova High School and went immediately into the banking industry. Eventually, she worked for various attorneys, and eventually worked as a Judicial Assistant at the Broward County Courthouse. In 1996, when Collette Ceilings and Drywall was formed, Kim became business partners with Paul, and she initiated work on the administrative end of the venture.
Kim volunteers considerable time to non-profit associations. She has been affiliated with the Cystic Fibrosis Gold Coast Guild, the Henderson Mental Health Clinic Auxiliary, and Beaux Arts and Children’s Opportunity Group.
In 2005, Kim was elected President of the Cystic Fibrosis, Gold Coast Guild and was an Honoree at the Women of the Year sponsored by Broward County’s Thousand Plus Club of the American Cancer Society. Additionally, Kim maintains a lifetime membership of the Cystic Fibrosis, Gold Coast Guild and the National Society of Daughters of the American Revolution.
